Happy New Year!
Hope you all had a good one. Just wanted to put some photos up from The Rock House Xmas Party.
It was such an amazing night, I personally was totally blown away at how many people came along, how how brilliantly Emily & co. managed to decorate the place, how mixed the audience was and of course, and most importantly, at how good the bands were. Everyone totally stepped up and smashed it! I’m very excited about the prospect of more nights like this in 2014!
Here are some of what people said about the night –
“It was very inspiring and most importantly great fun!!!!!”
“It was brilliant the bands rocked”
“It really was an amazing night! What a great start to Xmas. Made me feel decades younger too.”
“BRAVO! It was my favourite Rock House yet, an excellent mix of music and people. More of this in 2014 please!”
“Thank you everyone at The Rock House, it was exciting to be at green door store this year! Thank you everyone who performed and supported we really enjoyed the party and Stephen wants to perform again now too!!”

Next week The Rock House is having it’s Christmas party, with a difference!
After the success of the PKN & Zombie Crash tour, and the gig in Brighton especially, The Green Door Store asked us to put more events on there… this is a big deal for everyone involved with The Rock House for the past 4 and a half years, The Green Door Store is one of Brighton’s best venues and right at the heart of Brighton’s music scene. For us to be invited to put on a gig with some of the learning disabled scene’s best bands and musicians is amazing and we’re all really excited about it happening. We’re going to keep the format and atmosphere of The Rock House as you know and love it, short sets from loads of bands, eclectic music, relaxed, unpretentious and welcoming… If you’ve ever wanted to bring friends or family down to The Rock House this is the one to come to! Loads of space to rock out AND there’s a bar!

We’re very honoured because they have put together entire show dedicated to the PKN & Zombie Crash tour! You can hear the whole story of how it happened, interviews with everyone on the tour and live songs from the bands! It’s great to have the support of the only radio show in UK where you’ll hear all the best music from artists with learning disabilities.
