A5flyer(front500px)Summer 2016 saw Daniel Wakeford, a charismatic and honest individual, bringing his unique brand of pure and ecstatic pop to audiences across the UK.

Daniel is a singer-songwriter from the UK’s burgeoning learning disabled music scene, a Carousel artist based in Brighton who was going out on tour for the first time ever. Promoting his  album, “The Songs of Gigs” in accessible venues to integrated audiences with some of the best bands in the alternative music scene. This tour was made possible through a grant from Arts Council England.

PKZCN_A5_PRINT_SIDE01_webConstant Flux created the opportunity with funding from Arts Council England for a band at the forefront of the UK’s learning disability music scene, Zombie Crash, to undertake an integrated UK tour with one of the best examples of learning disability music in the world, Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät (PKN) from Finland.

The tour ran from October 1st – October 5th 2013, visiting London, Leeds, Sheffield & Brighton. The successes, failures and (overwhelmingly positive) feedback can be read in the full Tour Evaluation.

2017-poster-front-lo-resThe Rock House is a collaboration between Constant Flux and Carousel, organising monthly accessible and integrated gigs in Brighton. A unique event that is breaking down barriers for musicians with and without learning disabilities to play together in front of enthusiastic, integrated audiences. It always strives to be different and as forward thinking as anything else you might see in Brighton.

Soda Beat, the first integrated live music night in London for musicians with learning disabilities was set-up in partnership with Club Soda in Croydon. Constant Flux supported the initial phase of the project, which is now independently run by Club Soda.
